SPS has conducted Biohazard training for frontline staff who are delivering disinfectant and forensic cleans, including the proper use and disposal of PPE.

LEVEL 1 – DISINFECTANT CLEANING

Level One Disinfectant Cleaning – Full wipe-down and disinfection of all high-contact areas

SPS has tailored a Level 1 service for all clients as a preventative measure to ensure that all high-contact areas are adequately disinfected. Our L1 service eliminates and removes 99.9999% of bacteria, viruses, and spores using either  Steri-7 XTRA Disinfectant with Reactive Barrier Technology. Where Steri-7 is not available we will use another hospital-grade disinfectant:

This service includes the disinfecting of the following items:

  • All entrance/exit doors/lifts on each floor (including door handles)
  • All workstations (desks, keyboards, mouse, phone)
  • All hard floors
  • All bathrooms, EOT facilities, changerooms
  • All kitchens areas (including microwaves, fridges)
  • All chairs and armrests (non-fabric)
  • All light switches
  • Any other areas identified by the client as high-contact

LEVEL 2 – BIOHAZARD DISINFECTANT CLEANING

Level Two Biohazard Disinfectant Cleaning – For confirmed COVID-19 cases in the workplace

If a person is confirmed to have Covid-19 in your workplace, our team will perform a sterilising & biohazard deep sanitisation service on top of our Level One Disinfectant Service.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Seal off all areas where the confirmed case has visited

Process: Using hospital-grade disinfectant, our trained biohazard team will use our antimicrobial disinfectant fogging service (subject to availability). Our fogging service fills your workplace with a fine mist of between 5-10-micron particles (1 micron = 1 millionth of a metre or 1 thousandth of a millimetre) of disinfectant. As the particles settle onto all surfaces, even the ones never touched by conventional cleaning, the disinfectant kicks into action killing Bacteria, Spores and Viruses fast. This process will kill up to 99.9999% of harmful pathogens such as Norovirus, Swine Flu, E.Coli, Salmonella, Legionella and many more.

Our cleaners will all wear Biohazard Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and dispose of all cleaning materials used and PPE in a biohazard bag taken offsite.

LEVEL 3 – ANTIMICROBIAL FOGGING

The current war on coronavirus has pushed fogging into the mainstream and is now recognised as the best way of decontaminating and help prevent the spread of coronavirus. Ultra-low volume (ULV) disinfection fogging involves using a fogging machine to generate a cloud of extremely small droplets (5 – 50 microns) of a disinfectant liquid. Our comprehensive program using STERI-7 XTRA will effectively disinfect and eliminate
99.9999% of bacteria, viruses, and spores.

Sanitisation & disinfecting service specification:

Step One: Risk Assessment
SPS staff will conduct a pre-start site risk assessment and job safety analysis worksheet.
Our comprehensive risk assessment process identifies any potential hazards within the workplace and what protecIve control measures must be put in place before the commencement of any work. This ensures that all SPS employees and client personnel are as safe as possible at all times.
Step Two: Sterilising & Biohazard Clean
All SPS cleaners have gone through a specific Sterilising & Biohazard disinfectant cleaning training module. SPS will conduct a thorough disinfectant wipe down of all accessible surfaces prior to our antimicrobial fogging service. Fogging must take place after hours as Biohazard protective equipment must be worn by anyone present.
Step Three: Post-Clean Analysis
After the successful delivery of cleaning services, a post-clean analysis is conducted to ensure that the best result possible was achieved and to ensure the continuous improvement of service delivery. The post-clean analysis checks all cleaning methodologies used against the result achieved to ensure that all methods used for each task resulted in an excellent cleaning standard.
